Prayer of devotion.

Our Father in heaven, use me this day as you see fit. I am yours, Lord God. This is your day, heavenly Father. This day belongs to you. I belong to you. We exist for you, LORD God. Let us bring you glory. You know all things, Father. You see all of it, from beginning to end, from eternity to eternity. You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which was, and is, and is to come, the Almighty God. You created us for your pleasure and for your glory. You created us because you love us. You created us in your image and made us able to love you and one another. Let us live according to your will, according to love. God is love. You are love, O Lord. We dwell in you. We dwell in your love, in your beautiful presence, in your powerful presence. You dwell in us. Your love and your power dwell in us. Use us for your glory, Father. We trust you, because we know you love us, and we know your mercy endures forever. You made known your love to us through Jesus Christ, your only begotten Son. You love all people so much that you sent your only begotten Son, that through him we may be saved, that whoever believes on him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. You want us to have everlasting life. You give us everlasting life through Jesus Christ. We believe the record you gave us of your Son. We believe in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, who was crucified on the cross and died for us, died for our sins, paying the penalty for our sins with his pure blood, was buried, rose again the third day, defeating death for us, ascended to the Father, and is at the right hand of God, always making intercession for us. We have eternal life and forgiveness through him. Praise the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures for ever. Amen.
